INVERTED ILLUSION

Bei der Abschlussarbeit handelt es sich um einen Opener für eine fiktive Science-Fiction Serie, der den Ansprüchen der heutigen Gesellschaft nachkommt. Dabei stehen ästhetische, künstlerische und abstrakte Bilder im Vordergrund, die die Rezipienten in die richtige Stimmung versetzen und eine gewisse Neugier für die Serie auslösen sollen. Die fiktive Serie INVERTED ILLUSION spielt im Jahre 2056 in Chicago, USA. Sie handelt von einer Zukunftsgesellschaft, die sich in eine Dystopie verwandelt.

Der Opener soll bildlich wie auch inhaltlich zu unserer Idee der Serie passen und dabei komplex und abstrakt genug sein, um das Thema anzuteasern, sodass die Zuschauerin oder der Zuschauer das Intro erst vollkommen versteht, wenn sie oder er die Serie gesehen hat.

Beim wiederholten Ansehen des Openers und der Serie sollen die Zuschauenden neue Inhalte entdecken können, die sie vorher nicht gesehen oder beachtet hatten. Dies zielt darauf ab, dass sie das Intro nicht überspringen, sondern es mit stets neuem Interesse schauen.

The final project is an opener for a science fiction series that meets the demands of today's society. The focus is on aesthetic, artistic and abstract images that should put the recipients in the right mood and trigger a certain curiosity for the series. The fictional series INVERTED ILLUSION is set in the year 2056 in Chicago, USA. It is about a future society that is turning into a dystopia.
The opener should match our idea of the series both visually and in terms of content, and at the same time be complex and abstract enough to hint at the theme so that the viewer does not fully understand the intro until he or she has seen an episode of the series.
As viewers re-watch the opener and the series, they should be able to discover new content that they had not seen or paid attention to before. This aims to ensure that they do not skip the intro, but watch it with renewed interest.
