As the pandemic goes through its second phase, people’s awareness about the need for precaution measures needs to be constantly refreshed.
I noticed that the shape of the Covid-19 virus is very similar to the asterisk *, which can be found on all the computer keyboards across the world. It is literally in every home. Based on this observation, I developed this campaign and message.
We tested the first drafts with some people and the symbol was not immediately recognized as the virus, and therefore, we had to adjust the colors to make it more similar to the virus. We also had to adjust the wording to make sure that the message gets across immediately.
